My mother made baby books for my brother and I, and I love that she documented everything so well: photos, letters, drawings, etc. I wanted to do something like that for my little one, but the idea of filling volumes of books seemed daunting -- and outdated. This is the perfect way for me to document my daughter’s development, sharing each step with all her "fans," without the hassle and storage issues of giant photo albums. Also, I love being able to blog about my babe-scapades, but in a private setting.

The simplicity of posting to the website from either a mobile device or computer for any of the members on a family's inclusive list has not been replicated on any other social networking site.

I feel that the site as a whole works as a complete package. Things from the individual picture captions or stories you can add really help in sharing my child's life with friends and relatives and really provides a personal touch rather than just a photo sharing site.

We had been using a wordpress blog that I customized on my own domain to share pictures and videos, complete with password entry, but nobody every commented or participated in discussions on that site. Our family visits wee-web more often, update emails are sent automatically (and people can opt-out) and folks actually leave comments.

We lived in the UK for ten years and are now based in Australia, with family in New Zealand. Being able to share photos and videos and writing updates has been a great way to include friends and family in our journey. Seeing the comments people leave is also nice, it has a sense of community about it. It is a great way to share the excitement in a form that lots of people are familiar with. The Grandparents even plunged in to the online and computing world; they bought their first computer just so they could keep up to date with what our girl is doing. Us living in the UK for ten years couldn't even make them do that but a brand new granddaughter and Wee Web could.

We have family members all over the globe, from California to Australia, Greece and France to Brazil - Wee Web is perfect! Everyone can keep up with my son's growth and development via stories, photos and videos. With all the different time-zones it's far easier than trying to find a time for a video call.

We have family and friends all over the country who love this site because they're getting the chance to watch our son grow up and share in all the little moments we are experiencing along the way. Even though several people have never met our son face-to-face, they love and feel they know him like a child that lives in their neighborhood because they get to see him and his milestones/accomplishments as they happen.

I recommend Wee Web to others, particularly as I find people woefully ignorant of the problems surrounding Facebook.

Having everything in one place was important. There are lots of cute sites were you can store all of your babies' photos and have the option to send them to a select group of people - however, Wee Web is the only place were you can share photos/stories/videos/etc and where people can log in and view at their will.
